Getting Started
To apply to become a NATE Proctor:
- The application process is free.
- You do not have to be a technical expert, nor do you have to hold a NATE certification to be a proctor. Anyone who is affiliated with a testing organization, is conscientious, and a good administrator can be a proctor.
- NATE proctors can administer all exams NATE offers in both iBT (internet based test) and PnP (pen and paper) formats.
- Review the NATE Testing Organization and Proctor Guidelines and familiarize yourself with related documents as they pertain to your testing center.
- Submit your Proctor Application.
- You will receive a confirmation email when the proctor application has been approved (please check your spam/junk folder and contact NATE if not received). Applications are typically reviewed and approved within 1-2 business days. If your application is not approved, you will receive an email from NATE explaining what needs to be corrected in order for the application to be approved or an explanation as to why the application cannot be approved.
- Within the confirmation email will be instructions on how to create a login at www.mynate.org to order NATE exams.
