NATE Proctors Program Overview
You do not have to be a technical expert, nor do you have to hold a NATE certification to be a proctor. Anyone who is affiliated with a testing organization, is conscientious, and a good administrator can be a proctor. NATE proctors can administer all exams NATE offers in both iBT (internet based test) and PnP (pen and paper) formats.
Please note that becoming a proctor is a huge responsibility. You are responsible for protecting and maintaining the integrity of the NATE certification process. As an approved proctor for NATE certification exams, you are part of a network of individuals who support professional excellence in the HVACR industry, including educators, distributors, technicians, contractors, manufacturers, trade associations, utilities and consumers.
